Stay away from our staff

I would think no worries here. Indiana is a place (unfortunately similar to North Texas) where coaches dreams go to die. Fortunately for us, we can do better luckily due to playing lesser competition.

It's a player safety issue. He was forcing practice for players with concussion symptoms etc. Not about wins and losses. Good on the University for prioritizing player safety. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2016/12/1/13809438/kevin-wilson-fired-indiana-head-coach

Psh. Don't trip all over that bullshit. This was a win and loss decision and this gave them a cheap exit strategy.

You say some crazy things.  They love him in Indiana.  He just signed a new six year deal that doubled his pay 10 months ago.

If he managed to convince a medical doctor to go along with his pressure, there is going to be one less medical license in Indiana.

He's 26-47 while being 12-37 in conference play (with ZERO winning seasons). What ever dimwit doubled him up and gave him a 6 year extension needs to be exiting stage left with Wilson.

He got to 6-6 in back to back years.  That's not bad at Indiana.

Counting this year, we've been to six bowls since 2001.  Indiana has been to Two.

Think about that.  As bad as we've been since we came back to FBS/1A, we've been three times as successful as Indiana.

The back-to-back bowl bid was an unknown during that negotiation. Nevertheless, if they're doubling up pay and giving fat extensions for these kind of standards, then I would track star sprint to Bloomington if I were a coach.

His salary is 2.55 million to be a loser. That's more than triple Littrell's salary. It might be difficult to believe, but our standards might be higher here at little ol' North Texas.

That helps my argument, not yours.  Even with one bowl bid in his first five years he got a six year extension and doubled salary.  Obviously they are happy with what he did.  Go check the Indiana forums.  They are very sad to see him go, they thought he was on the brink of real winning.

Your standards?  Are you a Hoosier alumn?  Again, if they were unhappy why did they just double his salary?  And give him six years?

This was the last year under his old contract, would have been pretty easy to just let him go if they were unhappy.

Point is, Indiana sucks and they have shit for standards...apparently.

If Seth Littrell has any aspirations in being a college football championship coach then he needs to wait for a better job. If he's in this thing (like many coaches are) to get as much bang for his buck as he can for as long as he can...I would go to Indiana if they come calling.
