Yes...unless there is some other job offer out there that I feel is "worthy" of my talents, I take the job that is paying

I'm not saying it's impossible for him to come here, I'm just saying he is going to be looking for something comparable before a UT coach decides to downgrade his salary and not improve his title.

For Instance, take Reffett

ULM DC - Salary was $120K, then he accepted a position with...

Memphis Cornerbacks Coach - Salary was $204K, then he moved to...

UNT Co-DC - Salary is $160K. 

Reffet was in the same scenario that these guys are in, coach is gone and he has to find a new gig. makes a move down in salary and school prestige, yet his title is better. building a resume in the coaching world is HUGE when trying to get to the elusive Head Coaching title.

Reffett is getting buyout $ from Memphis he's making more than that, just what we're paying him. I believe.
