I don't think so. I get the whole "we don't deserve to be in a bowl at 5-7" hooplah but it's more experience and better for recruiting. And I imagine the players (especially seniors) want a reward for their hard work in this turnaround season.

I read it initially as "maybe someone was eligible and we got pushed out, even with APR."
