I think Mosley did a great job with this hire. I'm excited that they decided to stick with the identity of being a hard defense program and continue to build on that. I think it's a smart move.
On another note: the Denton Mayor showed up. I don't recall him showing up for previous coach press conferences...is this a sign of stronger relationship with the city?

They tried to get it the MVC but it was a bridge too far. I doubt they want to step back to the Southland but maybe the same conference UA Little Rock is in might work. There isn't a strong regional mid major conference that doesn't require football that I am aware of. Maybe CUSA will make an exception to get into DFW market.
