This is basically a pick um game. UNT has a bowl on the line, UTEP just ending the season. Does anyone know what has happened to the Miners since they beat UTSA at San Antonio a month ago? They have lost 3 conference games in a row to ODU, a good opponent, FAU and Rice, not so good but both road games. On another note regarding bowl eligible contests of interest, I pick Navy to beat SMU in Dallas to knock the ponies out of contention,La. Tech doing same on road at So. Miss., and UTSA to take care of business at home against Charlotte, giving CUSA 6 teams for our 6 bowls. I also predict rain tomorrow. But back to my original question, whats going on with UTEP?

They have a great NFL caliber running back.   End of list.

Think of Lance Dunbar, great back on a team missing too many other parts = Not many wins.

Lance's teams went 11-37 while he was here... not his fault.

How funny would it be if SMU and UNT both won this weekend and ended up playing each other in a bowl game. People on this board would melt down.

No one really likes rematches, especially the team that won. That's why I don't understand the BIG 12 having a title game after playing a round robin. I realize that it is all about the college championship , but if you are going to have a rematch for that purpose then you would have been better off adding 2 schools and creating 2 divisions.

I agree.  Hate what they are doing.  say the 2 teams beat each other and end up with the same record....who wins???
