^This.

We'll be streaming it at Fuzzy's from the Internet, not cable or satellite.  Same thing we did for the games against UTSA and WKU.

?  How much do you have to pay Fuzzy's to stream the game on one of their flat screens?

Zero dollars and no cents. I met with the manager ahead of time and told him what I wanted to do and he agreed they'd turn the music on the PA down during the game.  I bring my laptop and my long HDMI cable to hook into their TV.  I purchased the CUSA.TV subscription and feed off of the Fuzzy's WiFi. I also started bringing an amplified speaker to run the audio through because I had a couple complaints that the volume just through the TV turned all the way up wasn't enough.  We increased their business by 5 to 10 fold during game times.  If they tried to charge me, it'd be a deal breaker because I could find a different place happy for the extra business.

We used to do the same thing at Rudy's, but the WiFi strength at this Fuzzy's is a lot better than the Rudy's.  Also, for the games carried on cable, the folks at this Fuzzy's can run the game audio through their PA.

If you look at the pictures, their dinning room is full. I'm sure Fuzzy's really appreciates the business.

Thankful for Fuzzy's but I prefer the food at Rudy's.  Have you ever considered asking to plug in an ethernet port at Rudy's to stream?

Yes.  I had even purchased an adapter to extend the network cable they currently have going into the WAP in the banquet room.   It's been a few years, but as I recall, the issue on their side turned out to be more of an Internet service speed issue than a signal strength issue, which makes sense since the access point was in the same room.  I know that's not truly a WiFi strength issue, but similar end result.

Thanks to all that came out to Fuzzy's tonight and congrats to the prize winners.   We had a nice mix of folks tonight, including some former Mean Green football players and current player parents amongst the group as well as many gomeangreen.com posters.  I enjoyed hosting the Allen watching parties this year and I hope those that attended, win or lose, had a better time than they would have watching from home.

Maybe one more to go if we go bowling.
