Uh, this is not the UT in Austin;  we're talking the R I O   G R A N D  V A L L E Y version of UT.  And this pre-season NIT game is so important, ESPN hasn't even posted a score update all night.  And the game is probably over by now, and no score!!!  This disturbs me.

Better play in second half but still never really challenged UTRGV (never heard of them, didn't know Pan American had changed their name), who by the way is a pretty good team.  

NT is going to have to get a lot better front court presence or this is going to be a long year.

Yes, that's the guy I was hoping UNT would hire back then. Not sure why he left Lamar but he put together some really good teams.

Men's and women's teams. It looks like the women's team is about to regress in Jalie's 2nd season.

Does she not have about 4-5 transfers that are now eligible, so the team should be good, not like they are completely new to UNT

Well, as opposed to TB, I am willing to wait and see longer with Jalie. She has a lot of new pieces to fit and that is not necessarily on her. Moreover last season she did ok with what she had in the end. Doesn't mean this couldn't go wrong, but it is way to early to predcit that the whole season will go wrong. THere is a decent chance this team will still gel.

It may be a trying "wait and see". The women lost to U of Nebraska by almost 30 points today. I should add that was Nebraska-Omaha rather than the home campus.  

It's a good thing UNT-Dallas is not on our schedule this year.
