Trevor's leg beyond 40 is pretty questionable. Go for it in those situations unless the game is on the line at the end of the 4th.

The 3rd down call Sucked! It was obvious 2 down territory!

Agreed. Trevor has been quite below par on Field Goals.

The offensive line is horrific. Getting dominated yet again. Everyone can complain about play calling, but if you are unable to block, it doesn't matter what is called.

But QB play kinda sucked too.

I can certainly see where you are coming from; yet, at the same time, there were 3 other receivers running shorter "underneath" routes on the play you referenced.

This team is a hot mess.

This team is playing the best team in CUSA with arguably the best defense since the Florida Gators game.

We desperately need a banner recruiting year.  The whole North Texas recruiting package (facilities, location, academics) is hardly chopped liver.  Someone will be able to sell all that at some point--hope its SL.

GMG!

In 1998 first year head coach Darrell Dickey played @OU, @TTech, @Arizona St, and @aTm in OOC.  We lost all 4 badly, but we looked more competitive than we have against WKU and LaTech.

I know GH is trying to install a brand new system with players not recruited for it.  But you have to move the ball at least a little even in that first year.

WKU is going to beat up by however much they want to beat us by.

I agree. We need to beat other programs for quality recruits, not settle for players that no one else offered scholarships. That's what Mac did and look where it got us. We're currently getting stomped by a former Belt mate that's only been playing on the FBS level for about a decade.

We had four trips to the New Orleans Bowl under our belt before WKU ever played a down of FBS football. It's very sad to see them competing for their second conference title and us stinking up the joint. If Littrell doesn't improve our recruiting, we will not improve on the field next season. And to be totally honest, I'm not impressed with our recruiting so far this season.
