Kody Fulp, a linebacker at China Spring decommitted from UL-M last night and has reopened his recruitment. He had just received an offer from North Texas.  The line of Cougar defensive stars possibly continuing at North Texas.

China Spring is one of my favorite Doobie Brothers song.

"Oh, oh, China Spring"

Hmmm, that's "China Grove" but let's go with it.

@DT 90, I know you are a resident of China Spring.  Do you follow the current team?  Have any thoughts, insights on this young man?

No, I haven't seen a CS varsity game in three years because I referee on Friday nights so I haven't seen him play in person.  But I do  know him.  He is big. He is fast and hits like a Mack truck. Same size as DT 90 when he came out of high school.  I could easily see him being a hybrid DE/LB type.

Is it just me or do recruits normally not post "I have received an offer from ______" with multiple pictures of that school? This kid seems pretty excited, I think we may have 'em.

I've seen this happen quite often. Actually seems to be the norm nowadays.

Will play QB as a Senior.

Wow! Is he looking to play QB at the next level or is he just willing to play whatever position his coaches need him to play?

Our own Jabrill Peppers?

After watching about 3 minutes of highlights, I'm pretty much an expert.

One nice thing I see about Fulp is that he wraps up nearly every tackle that he makes. Our current defensive guys are playing well but miss a lot of tackles by trying to get the big hit and not wrapping up.
