The defense impressive speed. Several times they made nice plays on defense.

  The issue with #2 (whether or not it's a rivalry from NT's perspective) is that SMU CHOOSES to play us, they have other options.  That may change, but there's at least a verbal long-term agreement.

  On the other hand, we are FORCED to play the Roadrunners due to the stupidly-conceived invitation that should have gone to an established program like Tx State or ULL.  You literally cannot find anyone associated with NT that would not trade the UTSA spot on the schedule with ULL, Tx St, or even NMSU or Ark St.

You have not looked hard,  I sure would rather have UTSA than Tx St. NMSU or Ark ST.   Now ULL I would take over UTSA.   If it were up to me I would not have chosen UTSA for CUSA at the time but that goes for several more CUSA picks.

Agree.  And now that I've made the visit to the Alamodome I rate these previous trips above it.

Holy cow, we found one.  What's your rationale?
