First win outside the Central Time Zone since September 29, 2012 if anyone else is keeping track.

First half was rocky and I was afraid after that Pick 6 that our offense had sputtered. I don't know what Littrell and Harrell did at halftime but whatever it was, it worked.

Not to mention the conditions were less than ideal, and the Mean Green handled it with poise. Go Mean Green!

There's some Art of War genius in that defensive gameplan when you think on it. Army has 3 solid rushers, plus the QB. They'll get the yards almost at will, so the only thing to do is to slow them down and more importantly, make Army waste its time and energy by taking the ball away. It's genius, really. Army really beat itself as they fell into a trap the coaches set up for them.

And another thing - you would think the Army defense would be fresh since they didn't get a lot of  play time. But in that cold and without a lot of time to stay warm, the longer they stayed off the field, the slower they played.
