I will forever be in love with the HOD Bowl helmet.  Considering they no longer use that design, I'm assuming it is expensive to make. But that carbon fiber look with the metallic eagle was.. damn

I think a black metallic with green fleck with a "shadowed" eagle would look good also.

Worms up top, black SOW on bottom. I'm a big fan of the non-pictured white/SOW we've got in our current lineup.

Top row:  Love both of the worms.  Hate the circle eagle on the left.  The other two are just too far back in time.

Bottom:  The black one is GREAT and it has the correct size SOW!  The other two have it too big and too small.  Also I hate the color of the left one. 

The carbon fiber one is nice for special uses, but agree that it needs a slightly different green.

Finally, any with the words "North Texas" or blue/yellow/gold colors make me sad.

I'm sure I'd be in the minority, but what would a green SOW outlined in black look like on a metallic silver helmet?

Many accept silver as a neutral color so we'd not be fooling around with our official school colors.

My fav isn't an option. White helmet green sow. Fav uniform is throwback worn in 2013 season opener. Less is more.

They used an applique on the helmet. Every scratch/scuff had to be patched. Looked cool but a hassle to keep looking "pretty" throughout the game.

I may be alone on this but I really liked the green helmet with the black SOW on it.  

Not for everyday, but it looked real nice with the black jerseys (especially with green pants)

I like the old school white helmet with the interlocking NT. I also like the new black and carbon fiber looking helmets with the SOW.

I'm not sure if a Keurig Coffee machine helmet would fit with NCAA regulations, but TheWren(tm) is an innovative guy.  Our players would never be tired in the 4th quarter again!

I like top right flying worm and bottom left SOW, but...

I'm still waiting for my favorite helmet to be designed.  I'm not sure exactly what it would be, I know we can do better.

Not only is it the most ascetically pleasing, it is also the most unique. The two tone green and white is perfect. I have no idea why we ever stopped using this helmet and uniform. If we would have kept this look, today our helmets and uniforms would be as recognizable as any other FBS/D1 program that has been around for 100 years.

A matte version of this with chrome flying worm. Also a white / white or black / black with large chrome green SOW and chrome dipped face mask.

*Only when coupled with new sets of Nike Mach speed uniforms including multiple alternates.
