'17 WR Emmet Perry (Desoto HS)

He's listed at 6'3 180 lbs.  I believe he's having a breakout senior season, although admittedly I don't have the time to keep up with a ton of other HS programs right now.

Matter of fact, check out Colorado's commitment list. Two commits from Denton, one from Allen, one from Cedar Hill. Most of their top commits are from Texas. Hopefully one day we can start keeping these types of guys home...

It appears Colorado has several reasons to make a trip to the Metroplex.   UNT can help make that happen!! ...

... but not until 2018 at the earliest (if SMU bails on our series), and 2022 otherwise.

The guy who was hired to specifically recruit DFW is a bad ___ MF'er at recruiting DFW has been everywhere he's been and will continue to be.  Plus selling Boulder, CO aint too hard.  Hey, come look at this gorgeous facility where it'll be 60-70 degrees 8 months out of the year and the other 4 it'll snow.

Fair enough. I have heard amazing things about Boulder and Colorado itself is beautiful.

They have Big10 and Chris Orr to tell him how awesome it is up there. We have Bryce English who he probably didn't play with from Desoto.  Hopefully he doesn't like cold and wants to catch a bunch of footballs from Fine.

We haven't landed a high school recruit from DeSoto with another FBS offer since Zach Orr 7 recruiting cycles ago in 2010. That streak needs to snap.
