I wish the premium streaming I paid for was half that good.

This video did not suck at all.

The media department sure has improved just in one year. And it's about time, too. I thought UNT had a great film department?

just because i want this player to get his due if no one has done it already....the game winning play was credited to combs by barnett, but it was garner (37) who stopped that guy cold and others helped finish him off.

hell of a tackle by garner!

Good point, but if you watch it a few times, you also notice Finney blew up the lineman right into the running back causing him to have to stop and move to the right where Garner made the play. Finney deserves a lot of credit on that final stop.

Yesterday, I watched these highlights a few times on Facebook and I got chills every time I saw that last stop. When that happened in real time I got up and danced like a school girl. My wife was even impressed, with my moves and the defensive stop.

Courtney Finney getting no love, but he blew the last play up.  Watch the video.  He pushed his blocker into the gap where the RB wanted to go, forcing the RB to stop, at which point Garner and then Combs/Preston cleaned him up.

This play is the epitome of DO YOUR JOB.

You are correct. Finney has been much improved over the past few weeks. The linebackers still have some downside but the play was much better. Finney is becoming a solid fit in the middle.

I actually think Garner made inital contact around the ankles and then Combs and Co cleaned him up.

Garner played a good overall game when he was in. He definitely made the most of his opportunities.

Wow ... on Youtube I saw another video of UNT - Rice highlights.  I thought "Cool!  Our video staff has more stuff out".  It took about 3 seconds to realize this was 2015 highlights.  I very, very, very quickly close out of that crap video.  No need to see that again.

Didn't mind spending 10 and a half minutes at all.

What an awesome stand at the end there!

Go Mean Green!

A superb 10.5 minutes of Mean Green magic!  This program needed this win so bad & then the guys in green went out & got it!

GMG!

Was it Finney that rushed the gap on the last play?  I thought it was Garner, who played an excellent game, after rewinding it 3 or 4 times.  Would have loved to have access to an up close replay.  Great defensive stand.

Back on topic, super video on Mr. Fine and Mr. Pirtle and how small town high school football units a town.
