If #19 is your son I love this guy playing for us.  He puts his heart and soul into the program.   Always a player i like to watch when he is on the field.

It's her little brother.

HOF post.  I know I'm guilty but we sometimes forget that all of these players are somebodys family member. They give their all and deserve so much from all of us for representing our University.

To the producers, videographers, etc of Beyond the Green:

On behalf of #19 and our Schilleci family, we really want to thank you for the work that you put into this show.  We have loved watching John play over the past four years but there has always been added excitement in watching your shows during the week. We never miss an episode.  Student athletes often don't get to see their families a lot during the year.  You probably see him a heckuva lot more than we do. We very much appreciate the glimpses that you have given us to see him in practices, games and locker rooms.

Our father is disabled and unable to see these games and be a part of Johns experience. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to share those with him as well.

You have made our North Texas football experience even more memorable  and we look forward to watching the rest of his Senior year through "your eyes". ?

@SSP

Thats a pretty amazing post and I greatly appreciate the support. The show gets a good amount of love in this forum, but posts like that are what makes me love doing this series even more.  I'm very glad to hear that it allows your Dad to see a little more than he normally would.

Being able to do a series like this, covering my alma mater, has been fantastic and a high-point in my career up to this point.

I smell a piece on the special teams, possibly including a short piece about a local guy that has pretty much kept to himself and worked his butt off without a lot notoriety.  Instead, he plays for the love of the game and the support of his family...
