Good thing we've had a great test (granted, we failed that test... again) against Matt Davis @ SMU.   I think the defense will be ready to stop a running QB.

Rice is no Florida. I believe our defense and special teams can post performances similar to last week's. Will the offense step up and do their part? I think so. Some teams around C-USA could be in for quite a shock.

North Texas 48

Rice 17

I predicted 4-5 wins this year before the season and I am confident in that now as I was then. We will beat Rice, We will beat Army, and we will beat either UTEP or UTSA.

Army is going to be 5-1 (possibly 6-0) when we roll into West Point.

Also, you are expecting us to win 3 road games?

Army is fun to watch. -very hard to stop that O.

If you do what you are supposed to do on the offense and key your guy, the option is very stoppable. I think if they put Shanbour on Scout QB for this and they run it as perfect as a scout team can run it we can keep this offense under wraps. At least not give up 600 yards like UTEP

Just had to bring this up because the article states we are both even on special teams. This week's ESPN not top 10 had Rice's 3 yard punt against Baylor at number 5. If Keena can do what Keena does, we should win the positioning battle which will help a lot. As for Rice, keep 3 yard punts coming!
