The first thing that comes to mind is they are 0 - 3, playing at home, and dangerous. If the team that showed up in Florida shows up in Houston, we could come home 2 - 2.

An excellent place to watch a football game, especially in nice weather. The MOB... well, it's the MOB. Their student section is loud, proud, and heckle with the best.

And they've got a student-run pub on campus. When I was at Houston, the pub was in the basement of the chemistry building; it appears to have moved to the student center. We'd go on Wednesday nights, when you could bring your own pitcher-- any size, as long as it was shaped like a pitcher (boy, did our architecture students have fun with that)-- and they'd fill it with Shiner Bock for $2. http://willyspub.rice.edu/

This is a winnable game for us, depending on which UNT and Rice football teams show up.

UNT isn't scandalous, so the Rice band doesn't have anything to pick at like they did with Baylor this past weekend

they'll probably resort to the lame "be sure to tip your waiter well, she may have attended UNT" line again (implying that all NT students are music majors who can't get real jobs when they graduate). Never mind how few MOB members are actually Rice students - there's a lot of local Jr. High & High School kids to make up for the lack of students.
