Except given the scores we've seen before in body bag games this was not the blowout Vito describes. Our defense played pretty well and if our offense could have moved the ball our defense could have had time to rest for the 4th

Exactly. If the offense does anything, that scoreboard is very different. Defense played outstanding given the time they were on the field.

The bad news is our True Freshman QB played like a True Freshman. The good news is he will be our starter for 4 years and is getting valuable in game experience against a top 25 team that is only top 25 because of its defense. Had this been a McCarney coached game it would have been 99-0 and a senior would be getting all the reps.

My not so quick thoughts:

Strangely, was more encouraged than not by game

Defense continues to progress, Florida not a great offensive team but is still full of supreme athletes

Defensive line, linebackers, and secondary all performed well

Offensive Line manhandled, lucky Fine and running backs survived

Wide receivers still a big problem area

Special teams had borderline great game

Keena was almost perfect

Surprised Fine went the whole game, but with Morris' lack of mobility probably a good thing

Although offensive was dominated in record fashion, both the defense and special teams took steps forward

Overall CUSA has gone further downhill this year

NT is not going to be an easy win for any CUSA team

Fine had a rough game, but our OL was backing in on him all night long and he had no time at all.  Lots of film to work with for the coaching staff.
