  • All About UNT changed the title to What do you know of our next opponent (Florida Gators)?

Annual Top25 team. 3 national championship. 3 Heismans. 6 or 7 SEC championships. Current team...physical D. Improving O.

Great overall school from an academic standpoint.

UNT will have its hands full come Saturday. Glory to the Green.

Untrue....so untrue.....we are just very drunk by the third quarter.   See, for most of our history, our football team was being bombed on the field, but that was ok, since we were all bombed in the stands.

Seriously, the end of third quarter swaying goes back a while.   Not sure who came up with it first really. This one goes back probably to the early 1920's but the people at aTm might have us beat with it.

You really will piss us off if you say we ripped off the aTm types.  Those are fighting words, actually.

They still allow people to leave at the half and rush over to the bars to pound a couple and return for second half?

It's funny how some of the younger folk don't realize that Floroda was the Kansas of the SEC for a verrrry long time.

Remind me, when did it turn and who finally turned it? Was it the university finally making a commitment?

Inquiring minds...

They almost lost to FAU last year, and they lost to FCS GA Southern two years before that. Oh, and Dan will probably be there pulling for them on Saturday while we simultaneously shower him with free cash. That somehow sounds treasonous.

It started back in the 80s I think. Though you won't see those conference championships in the record books because the coach (Pat Hill?) didn't follow all of the NCAA rules.

The first Heisman winner in school history returned to be 'The Head Ball Coach' and began winning in earnest. While there in the 90s they won the first national championship and he coached the second Heisman winner, Danny Wuerful.
