Thing is, if you are going to spend $1M on injury-prone CM, you definitely need to spend that much on someone else just as good too. Maybe he plays, maybe he doesn’t. Plenty of programs have the $ to do it. CM’s bio: Oklahoma, TCU, North Texas, Okie State… My grandpa is spinning in his grave over what college football has turned into. -

Just how out of whack is college football?
I want to say he redshirted at UT, got a medical redshirt his first year at Utah, got hurt in 2020, played 2021 and 2022 but has again been hurt since. Between medical waivers and the covid year, I don't know how much time he could still get. It was reported he was leaving Utah though. Maybe he'll join Miami and their 9th year TE. -

After formal ACC exit notice (in 2023), Florida State now says 'we never said we wanted to leave'
Who said we ever wanted to leave the ACC? “We’re in the league the last time I looked,” FSU athletic director Mike Alford told USA TODAY Sports during the Sports Business Journal Intercollegiate Forum. “We never said we wanted to leave the league.” Actually, they did. Is the Portal out of control?
There’s nothing to get over. It’s just perplexing trying to understand why you two whine about the current state of the transfer portal and NIL completely year round. No new dialogue or talking points, just the same rehashed frustration.- 4
