Waiting to see a pass beyond 15 yards.

Combination of play calling, QBs, OL, and WR.

Morris is back in. Missed a WR open on a crossing route and the pass was tipped for an INT. Our WR can't seem to get open, TBH.

Would like to see us actually make a fade. That is on the WR's just as much the QB's. It seems the fade reveals just how weak our WR's are.

What happened to Jeff Wilson?  Can't find him on the sidelines even...

I think I saw him with gym clothes on the sideline with a sling.  I hope I'm wrong about that.

my impression of the game we need to get better everywhere and fast.   We still give up big plays and thank god their receivers could not catch a cold.  we just don't seem to click on offense.  Not sure why our receivers can't seem to get open and I think we need to give up on the fade route in the end zone.

He seemed to be letting his right arm hang very gingerly after his last few runs. Hopefully nothing serious.

I'd actually like to see us try something other than a fade. By my count, in 7 goal-to-go passing downs, we threw 362 fade passes. Butane-Cookman knew exactly what was happening.

Seriously, if the fade is one of Morris' best pass types, I'm scared of the ones he's bad at.

Guys, UNT is not very good.  Without Fine we lose this game. Poor tackling.  And BC is an FCS team, least we forget.

Their 231 total yards! What game were you watching! D looked good to me! GMG

We don't click on offense for two simple reasons: the players on offense here (except the QBs) were recruited to play here in a polar opposite offense. And the system we are running has inexperienced QBs. As they get used to SL's system, the better things will eventually get.

Against an FCS team.  Gave up too many big plays to BC.  I just cringe when I think about us going against WKU, Marshall, La Texh, etc.

I think the defense played a great game tonight, despite the big plays. In honesty, the punt return at least could have come back. But our guys actually wrapped up and finished the tackles. It was a big improvement over one week. I was alright with Morris coming into the game, with a decent lead and Mason Fine getting banged up early in the second half. I would be satisfied with just giving Florida a run for their money for 2 or 3 quarters. I think that would be enough to give the team some confidence for their most realistic shot at a road win against Army.

Why in the world would Rick V come to the 2nd game of the university he was recently fired from??? I'd wanna stay as far away from here as possible, but he's in a suite near me, sure as his white moustache.

Technically he stepped down, not fired.   We all just assume he was asked to step down.

Minus the 83 yard run, the defense played really well. Speaking of that run, the QB is Arkevious Williams, a 3 star DT QB per 247 in this past year's recruiting class. Per 247, BC was his only offer. Wonder why...

You may wish to get some clarification on that.

Not particularly.  I don't really care either way.  I'm just repeating what was communicated from the university and the president.

When somone resigns they don't get paid anymore. When someone is still being paid they were told/asked to leave.

Again, I'm just repeating what was communicated, and to your comment, unless you were in the room, you don't know how the conversation/negotiation went down.   Rick easily could have seen the writing on the wall (as well as on the banner) and walked in to negotiate his departure.  I don't think Smatresk would have said no.

He was paid to leave. That is being fired, no matter the pretty face that some people want to put on it.

I figured he would wait for the USM game to make an appearance...

Call it what you want.  I don't care.
