I will be there tonight and plan on going every week this season. Would love to meet some of the peeps on the board that are going as well. Finally put some names to faces.

Anyways it's at 7 at Rudy's in Denton so be there if you can!

I was there last week, but don't think I can make it tonight.  I wish I could.

Do they open the floor for questions?  I don't live in the area, but would love to know why the SMU fumble was not reviewed.  Seemed quite obvious from the stands, but it was waived off and then SMU hits the long pass over the middle on the following play.

They didn't take questions last week.  In the past, they have begged for questions.  Same with the NT trivia question.  People answer the question in a quiet voice, but don't go up front to answer and claim the prize (a new Corvette this week, if I'm not wrong).

They used to do Facebook with Poppy for questions, but I'm thinking Stephen Bartolotta may no longer be in the AD staff.  He wasn't on the game radio broadcast and isn't listed on the staff directory page.  His LinkedIn page still shows him on the AD staff though.

He left last year to pursue other career opportunities. He and his family live in Arlington so I imagine he found something closer to home.

Not sure of his employment status, but I did seem him on the sidelines during the game.

I asked myself the same question, why didnt we Challenge that or even the refs themselves double checking with the crew on their thoughts.

It could be that with it not being a TV game and having minimal cameras at stadium the chances of loosing a time out were greater than getting the ball but hell, what did we have to lose?

Works for the Arlington Police Dept. in communications...he is also the media face of the Dept. should they have need for TV interviews, etc.  At least that is what he told me when he left.

It was very obvious from the TV that the ground caused the fumble. No need to risk timeouts for something that clear.

At the stadium they announced it happened after the whistle, which did not seem to be true. But I could not tell you about the ground from where I was sitting.

Much of this could be fixed if they could manage to get a working ref mic... high schools do it around the state, why can't we?
