Fines speed might be needed because the o line was not given Morris enough time and he is definetly a pocket passer. He stood his ground and to a lot of shots. Oline and Dline were the biggest disappointments. SMU ran the ball right down our throats with their speed and we could not contain the backfield. Honestly his arm was not fantastic. They had like 9 completions to out 26. Why were we not blitzing the corners and trying to cut off the little dump off passes and screens? UNT will get better though. This game is a good teaching moment and I do like Littrells enthusiasm. It's different being back in the stands but still exciting.

Morris stayed on his primary receiver way to long. Every Texas high school linebacker knows how to watch his eyes as that is where he will throw.  No qb should expect more than 4 seconds protection.  He was sacked well after that and it was not the OL fault.  Disappointing night, hope it improves.

Overhauling complete offensive and defensive styles. I saw flashes of what could be and I'll still have faith that they can get things going. Hopefully it'll be this year but we may have to wait a season to see results.

Go green!!
