Watch closely and periodically you can see the back of the poor board ops head, easily identified by the big headphones.  He's riding backwards crammed between the back seat and the hatch.  Poor dude.  Probably an intern.

Ooof.

Double ooof.

Ooof #1 can be easily disproven by a hop-skip-jump over to Panchos.

Ooof #2.  Carolina Style is it's own style that can be appreciated. Its vinegary, mustardy, peppery deliciousness (because pulled pork cannot stand on its own) is alright with me.  I'd rather have some Brisket & sausage though.

I'm a Memphis dry rub rib guy myself.  Point being, you can't monopolize an entire cooking process to one cut of one animal.

Slaw or naw?

I remember the first time if I wanted slaw on my dawg.

ummm... do what?

Turned out to not be too bad, but had no idea what they were talking about at first.  They do love their slaw in the deep south.

Agreed. Texas, KC, Memphis, Carolina all think their BBQ is the best and rightfully so. They are all good in their own ways. It really depends on what you grow up eating to determine what you like. It's kind of like people from Cali loving In-N-Out and people from Texas loving Whataburger. They are not the best burgers around but they evoke memories of your past and people love them nonetheless.

lol he couldn't answer any of Littrell's questions. Wonder if he was avoiding endorsement or if he just hasn't completely ventured outside of Barley n Board since he came back (if he moved back).

What would you have answered to Denton's best BBQ joint?  Since Steve's burned down, there really aren't any.

I personally prefer Rooster's. Bet the house and Metzler's are also good

You plug your sponsors.

"Boy, you can't go wrong with Metzler's or Rudy's!!!"

He probably has an opinion but he couldn't piss off either sponsor. Smart play.

Wrong. Bet The House on Elm hands down. Or if you're feeling adventurous, Juicy Pig on Locust. Big Fatty's Spanking Shack on Parkway is also excellent.

Bet the House is very good. I haven't tried Juicy Pig yet... but I may have to try Big Fatty's just because of its name.
