Ivery was one of my favorite signees in his class.  I think he has a special ability to make people miss in the open field.  I would like to see the coaching staff give him more opportunities to demonstrate that (I think this offense and staff will).

Has to prove he can stay out of trouble first.. Agree though, Willie is dynamic and can help this football team in multiple ways..

Curious, considering our thin numbers at DL, why we would move Wegman to OL considering he is listed at 265 lbs?

OL is probably the thinnest position group on the team, and he may not be a scheme fit in this new defense.

Assume because he wasn't going to see any time at DT. Too small, too slow for NG, maybe a 3-tech, but a little undersized for NG.

That was his reported high school weight, no telling what it is now.   I don't think there have been any undated weights for returning players  in a year.

The answer to your question, is that he's too far down on the depth chart at DT  to be a factor.   Plus depth at offensive line is more important than defensive tackle.   Use to be very common for defensive linemen to be moved to the offensive line.    However, that was when the best high school linemen were routinely put on defense.
