On tonight's card, we have a Title Bout: Gandalf the White vs Yoda (the Green, I suppose).

and on the undercard,

Neo vs. Lt. Cmdr. Data

Capt. Picard vs. Capt. Kirk

Spiderman vs. Wolverine

Buttercup vs. the red Power Ranger

and an 11th-level Paladin with a +3 Sword of Sharpness vs a Griffon, 3 Orcs, and a Gelatinous Cube.

That paladin sounds like he has killed a few metal slimes in his day to get some experience points.

That's exactly what I was just discussing with Stebo.

Speaking of Stebo...I heard he's a ten foot tall beastman who showers in vodka and feeds his baby shrimp scampi....and he once inhaled a seagull!

For the title Match - Yoda in the first round hands down the easiest call.

(Neo vs. Lt. Cmdr. Data) Data in the second round. Neo is a punk!!

(Capt. Picard 1992 vs. Capt. Kirk 1969) This is tougher, but I take this as During the prime of both of their series, Kirk in the third and to the death, Kirk fought hand to hand in over half the shows.

(Spiderman vs. Wolverine) Good battle!!! I take Spiderman by decision after the 12th, He has spidy sense.

(Buttercup vs. the red Power Ranger) No real clue I know they are both cartoons, I think red Power Ranger should win in the 2nd just based on Names alone.

(11th-level Paladin with a +3 Sword of Sharpness vs a Griffon, 3 Orcs, and a Gelatinous Cube.) I don't remember Hit points and damage of an average 11th-level Paladin, and no idea what the Jell-o can do. I think if the Paladin is by himself he's totally screwed!!

See, I gotta know if the 11th season Paladin has any buffs before I make the call. A SoW can make all the difference if you gotta bail.

Armor (especially magical) can have good effects as well.

Did I ever tell you about the time that Bill Braksy taught his son how to drive? He did it by entering him in the Indy 500. The kid wrecked and died. Brasky said it would've happened sometime.

      PAC is back

      I grew up with "Eagles" and have never liked " Mean Green ", because we are not mean [look at our football record ] and not green [ we have an underfunded athletic department.] I agree with lack of media contracts as a deal breaker but don't know if we would want the travel required for all sports anyway. The BIG MOUNTAIN WEST podcast brought the subject up stating that the PAC and Texas State were in serious discussions and if they came then UNT or UTSA would be their next logical target so you may want to watch it. I don't have an opinion as I am really surprised that NIU joined the MWC for football only. According to the MAC bylaws you must have all your programs in the conference in order to be a member. Unless they change them then NIL's best option appears to be the MVC for all other sports but who knows.

      as a lot of big time coaches have said... if you want to immediately improve your team, getting everyone's effort levels up will do that... Since McCasland started his run, the Mean Green have been all about effort, and Hodge has done an excellent job of transitioning into the HC role. It's been talked about ad nauseum, but the Mean Green have an identity. The identity is f*ck you, you aren't going to get easy passes, be able to breathe with the ball in your hands and you're going to be complaining to the refs all game about how physical the team is. It's going to be ugly, and we are betting that we are going to be better than you in the last five minutes of the game. Credit to Hodge for bringing in the right players to keep this thing moving forward. I am looking forward to the rest of the season and hoping for some hardware

      the facilities look great. Unfortunately, unless things change around Denton quickly, the reality is that SMU is playing a completely different game than the Mean Green, good luck to you, but i don't know why you are coming on here to post topics of a team you probably won't play again for a long time... (maybe basketball) Good luck to you.
