With open practices, I'm surprised there are not a lot of informal videos being poured onto the social media outlets (not including the MGS official feeds).  Perhaps I'm not looking hard enough.

Does anyone have a gauge as to public attendance at these things? A lot of people? Very few? Just wondering.

Defensive Play of the Day: During the final period of practice, an 11-on-11 drill, freshman linebacker Corey Mann blew up the offensive line on a blitz and tackled running back Willy Ivery in the backfield for a seven yard loss. Mann, a Decatur, Texas, native and Temple High School graduate was named All-State after posting 165 tackles during his senior season.

Reading between the lines it looks like the staff expects every other JC transfer / Blueshirt to be with the team shortly.

 

Also, Littrell stated that they never recruited Derricott; that it was an inaccurate story all along.

I don't think its inaccurate, I think something changed along the way... I thought Billy or JayD said that they had info about Derricott and him confirmed that he was coming to UNT... Derricott also told Vito that, along Ek was following him as well(along with multiple players and UNT students), I'm guess he was a backup plan for us or he couldn't met the standards to get into UNT. Now Derricott could be lying, but I don't think it was a lie, and its far easier for UNT to express no interest for both sides.
