My guess is that he will be suspended for their first game, Arkansas, which they likely have no chance of winning.  It will show that he was punished (even though his participation in the game would likely have no impact on W/L) and it will have the added benefit of keeping him from getting hurt.  It will also provide built in excuse for getting beat.

Sounds like a win/win for the coach.

Latech lost arguably their two best offensive and two best defensive players.

It's possible, I just don't think it is very probable.

Xavier Woods is still going to be roaming around lighting people up though.   One of the best Safeties in NCAA.

Proving once again that nothing good happens after 1:00am.

I disagree in my life with 4 kids after 1 AM is about the only time fun can happen

Wow.  Lost top running back to graduation, now this.  They'll suck it.

He is only missing one game.  They will be fine.  Holtz has been bringing in good players since he has been there.

Hardy was a QB in high school.  OU recruited him to play as a WR.  He's never started anywhere as a WR yet in college.

Looks to me like the kid got up to OU over the summer and realized he couldn't compete at that level:
http://oklahoma.247sports.com/Article/2016-signee-Adrian-Hardy-transferring-from-Oklahoma-Sooners-45960106

"Adrian Hardy (6'2, 185, 4.5) of Houston (Dekaney), Texas, has decided that OU is not for him, and he has been granted a full release by OU Head Coach Bob Stoops and is free to play anywhere he wants."

And, he chose to go G5.  This is a kid who hasn't even learned the WR position yet, and didn't have the patience to learn it during what certainly would have been a redshirt season at OU.

So...there's nothing to fear about a true freshman who's never played WR before.  In fact, please put him on the field against us!
