How important was is to hire young (37) rising stars as AD and Football Coach?

I have stated from the beginning that I thought young hires would be critical to the changes needed at UNT. I feel we have gone from the stone age to the millennium age.

The resume is there but how they handle , young men, marketing and the social media I feel will be brought up to date. These factors are critical for success.

I tend to think that it's just as much the fact they are in very different parts of their careers than the last AD/FB.

This. You can have great young (well 37 is not THAT young) or older leaders. But in sports it is absolutely necessary that they are hungry, yet also know their responsibility. At 37 they oughta know what their responsiblity is. If I see Bill Snyder, I know that you can absolutely be old and hungry. But as careers near their end, some people stop planning for bigger things than where they are now.
