Surely not, right?    He seems to be more on top of what's going on than that.  The key part is "last night".   We've known about King for a while.

Maybe King announced his commitment on Twitter earlier, but didn't tell the coaches officially until last night?    Or, maybe it's someone new?

A UNT coach told me it was King. He may have been mistaking but I didn't argue with him

The coaching staff may not have "honored" the commitment until he came to campus on Friday evening for camp?

Maybe he was talking about Johnson, Derricott, or Hoston.  He said that he wasn't sure that all would make it.  Those three plus Jenkins on defense and Hayes on offense could be difference makers if they show.

I just had another thought in the 'to good to be true' category...what if the NCAA approved Bryce English's request to play this year?

This would be amazing news.  But I'm not holding my breath.

English is already enrolled, why would Littrell need to veil his eligibility like a recruit whom he is unable to mention by name?   I'm thinking it's King, as others have speculated.
