Whomever takes the helm, I'm very hopeful that he will have the green light (no pun intended) to quickly move to evaluate and cleanse the department.

I'm hoping the new AD is given COMPLETE CONTROL in evaluating current personnel. 

I hope he isn't forced to keep someone he doesn't want to keep.

We CANNOT hamstring the AD in ANY way. He/She has to have the control to make the personnel decisions they see fit. PERIOD. I wouldn't want someone to be my AD that would allow the prez or board call the shots. We are hiring the AD to do a job. We need to let them do it.
