I like what Teague brings to the table. Especially in his coaching hires and in the fundraising area:

Or you know what? Maybe this is cool; I dunno. Their Athletics website is 100x better than ours, that's for sure.

Considering Johnson was apparently never a candidate (at least according to him), I wouldn't put a lot of stock in rumors.

This has been held very close to the vest by the powers that be.

Thank God.

He is also an ex college baseball player which can only help our push to start a baseball team. He was also named 2015-2016 NACDA Athletics Director of the Year for the FCS level. I am liking him more and more. Hope they didn't float his name as a smokescreen.

He brings about everything I want to see in a new AD to the table. If this is a diversion and the real winner isn't as capable, I will be let down. Let's talk about Elmer Fudd or Gomer Pyle so we don't jinx this hire.
