so excited about this!

I don't think Poke' means what you think it means, nor what it meant when I was in school.

To heck with fireworks, pay the pokepeople to have pokemon characters appear during the games for people in the stands.

Sadly, this would require available bandwidth during games, for which our stadium sponsor cannot provide so...back giving out buckets o' wings.

Nope. Looked to be 1400+ through the gates to hang out at Apogee despite the spotty server issues, and the only tabling or advertisement was from the Union crew.

Swing and a miss once more!

I would dare to take a guess that 97% of the population there yesterday was current college students.  I was unable to attend needed to visit mother out in Decatur.  But, i understand how hard would it have been to set up a table with at least some information.

Not necessarily. There are tons of 30 somethings mesmerized by this crap.

I saw it first hand.

RV, Hank, is there any difference? At all?

There were enough families there to justify advertising athletics (in my mind). But it seemed like it wasn't fully planned out. They ran out of water almost immediately and had to go get more, I'm assuming from concession stands. All the ice in the tubs that the water was going into had melted by 7. And this game has been plagued by server issues, but it seemed like they never thought about what they would do if the servers went down during the event. I'm not sure if they know enough about it to have known about the severity of the server issues.

With that being said, I love how quick they were to jump on this and play into what is trendy right now. It just really needed to be fleshed out more.
