Safety from La Valley Juco, teammate of Hoston and Wyche. Anybody know if we're actively recruiting him, or if he's walking on? He's posting a lot of UNT stuff lately and is followed by Ekeler on Twitter.

He is a 2017 recruit. He holds a UNT offer. Said he is very interested. But has not committed yet

Are you sure about that? I read some information that seemed to contradict that and say that he is a 2016 with 3 to play 2. If so that makes him even more attractive.

Looks like the Scout network says he is a 2017 JUCO recruit, trying to finish in December.

Well, if you got it from the horse's mouth then it is probably right. With these juco guys it is kind of hard to know for sure.

Yeah i was hoping for the same thing. I was hoping he could come in this fall and redshirt. And get real familiar with the system

Cal but only if he qualifies, so it sounds like he has about 1 1/2 more weeks to figure out if thats going to happen.

It appears he signed at Minot State out of HS as a wide receiver. If he was a freshman at LA Valley last season, he must have redshirted in 2014. Not sure BV's comment about 4 to play 3 for Cal, should he qualify, is accurate.
