President Obaja has now blamed gun control, slavery, and the crusades as the reason the current environment exists in this country.

It isn't.

Its you, Mr. President. You blame things that happened well over 100 years ago for your own faults. And by doing this, you tell white police officers they deserve their fate. You tell black youths it's ok to disobey and assault police. You create an environment that is dangerous for people of color and police, all for your party's political gain.

Its the politics of hate. It's the politics of division. You need to stop.

You need to tell young black youths (hell, everyone, for that matter) that it's a no win situation to fight police. You need to tell them the place to challenge anything isn't on the street. You need to tell them that they will get free legal representation and that is the time and place to handle any issues. You don't. And police and black people are injured and killed because of your wanton lack of leadership and race baiting.

Why is Al Sharpton, a regular race baiter who profits on the death of black youth, a constant visitor at the White House? Even though he is under federal investigation for tax evasion? And why does every media outlet in America give you a pass for entertaining a racist on a regular occasion?

Lead, Mr. Presdent. Lead. Are black people better off than they were 8 years ago? Hell, are any of us? You have ripped this country apart by using race as a political tool, and people are dying. Today. Under your watch. Not 150 years ago. Not in the crusades. Now. Your legacy is a racially divided country that you enabled and encouraged. You have 6 months left to change that. You should, but you won't.

And now you blame a machine for something you fostered and encouraged. Not your fault, right? Nothing ever is.

Stop encouraging an organization founded on lies and funded by a rich, white, ultra-liberal supporter of yours.

The blood of these officers is on your hands. The blood of the shooter is on your hands. You have the power to promote unity and healing, but you don't. Ever.

Are you really going to use these many national tragedies to make political hay?  Disgusting.

What's disgusting is liberals like you not wanting to address the lack of leadership and the willful vilification of ALL police officers by BLM, an organization openly supported by the current president and his attorney general.

You don't want to discuss how the President of the United States publicly jumping to conclusions on black people, and only black people, shot by police has undermined the authority of local police and has left the impression in the black community that only black people are being shot by police.

What you don't want to talk about is the President of the United States being wrong on the facts in Ferguson, MO, andnot caring that he was, instead pushing that narrative through George Soros's money and endorsing the creation of Black Lives Matter, an organization created on the lie that was Ferguson, Mo. A lie fostered and advanced by the President himself.

You only want to talk about this on your terms. Well, that isn't the way this discussion works. Not anymore.

Local law enforcement is under an organized attack in this country. That very thin blue line that stands between a peaceful society and anarchy in society is being falsely portrayed as something it isn't by a President that cares more about political gain than he does lives of police officers or black citizens.

This will only get worse. People have now gone into Facebook mob mentality on the shooting in MN and LA. Nothing said from this point forward will matter to most, including this President, just like the evidence in Ferguson that EXONERATED the police officer didn't matter to this President. This is the society created and advanced by this President, who continues to rely on a political playbook instead of LEADING.

And, lord forbid, ever admitting he is wrong.

What's disgusting is the 5 dead officers in Dallas. What's disgusting is the false narrative that police wantonly kill black people because they are black and the propogating of this myth by the President of the United States.

You want to have a serious conversation about defensive tactics currently taught to police? About the over-reliance on non-lethal force devices which has led to the  abandonment of hand to hand combat tactics taught to police? These are viable discussions.

The President of the United States doesn't want that. He wants to highlight and comment only on black civilians shot by police for political gain. And has doubled down time and again because he knows he won't be held accountable when he is wrong.

Playing politics with the lives of black Americans and police officers is what's disgusting.

I post this link with trepidation. There is no link in this article to the original writing, which is always concerning, especially on this type of website.

Sadly, what this purported officer posts is exactly what officers face just about every day. That is the part to focus on in this article.

This was sent to me by a friend. Like I said, take it for what it is:

EDIT: the post is authentic. Here it is on its entirety:

I don't always agree with your posts in total, but several points there are valid IMO. Obama needs to keep his nose out of state and local issues until it's clear that those issues are endemic to a particular city or region.

He seems to want to heroically govern like this is 1965, but the environment out there has clearly changed significantly over the past half a century. If state and local governments clearly can't handle it, then by all means open your mouth and use federal resources.

Otherwise, he should just keep quiet until things have run their course. His mouth has divided this country more than we have seen in decades, and I fear that HillTrump will do the same.

This is so dead on.

"Americans of all races are RIGHTLY saddened and angered about the deaths of" the two black men killed in MN and LA.

Really, Mr. President? How the F would you know when neither you nor your justice department has seen one document or interviewed one witness on those cases?

These type of definitive statements on a shooting you know NOTHING about is a problem. If you had any leadership ability, you would understand this. Maybe you do and just don't care.

Just stop, Mr. President. Enough police have died this week.

Because you have no argument and people with your views have led this country to this point.

This is the tact you and yours will take to shut people up, because you don't want a dialog, you want anarchy.

is that what you think a nine paragraph rant is?

Make a point, if you have one.

You don't. Because you have advanced the false narrative through your post about Ferguson and Martin. You didn't care about facts then and I'm sure you don't care about them in either of the 2 "controversial" police shootings in LA or MN.

Im sure if you had your way, those officers wouldn't be afforded due process. Just put them in prison because police need to pay, right?

Obama is not responsible for crazy people flipping out.  Neither are any other Republican or Democratic politician.

This is why I hate politics.

The guy who killed the police officers, we now know, had serious personality issues.  Got kicked out of the army.  Couldn't hold a real job.  Held extreme views.

This is something no politician can just "fix."

What can be done, but what rubs up against the First Amendment die-hards, is cracking down on hate groups' use of the internet to spread/spew their messages.  The balancing act, then, would be, 'how much do we let these hate groups get away with before shutting down their online presence,'

This police killer seemed to become radicalized online same as the kid who murder the people in the black church.

There needs to be a revisiting of what constitutes protect First Amendment speech in light of those two incidents..

What about the President's hate language of accusing officers without seeing one piece of evidence?

How do you control that?

I think he's wrong to do that, for sure.  Can't argue that.  However, even before (and, even as) he says those type of things, hate groups are spreading their hate online.  Something must be done about those groups - black, white, ISIS, and otherwise.  The miscreants at facebook, twitter, etc. aren't policing it enough themselves.

The thing I do fault Obama for is the thing I fault the media for:  jumping the gun (no pun intended) on placing blame.  But, sorry, Micah Johnson was a headcase set to explode no matter what Obama said or didn't say.  Obama didn't radicalize him, online hate groups did.

In addition, with the Minnesota situation, that governor is out of control; as is the media.  Murder one is a high bar to clear, almost impossible against police officers in the line of duty - which is as it should be.  They are fanning the flames there, and it does no good.

This thing in Minnesota may end up the same is the situation in Baltimore - suspect died in police custody, but there is no ill intent on the part of the police that would rise to the level of a criminal act.

Police must be able to do their jobs; and, they are constantly in danger.  In the Minnesota situation, you had people shouting to the officers about having a gun, then not following directions.  Okay, look...police officers have to make split second decisions based on their training.  It's sad that the guy died, but you can't prejudge the officer publicly the way Minnesota's governor has, and the media has...as always on the media's part.

Confused also as to why the Minnesota situation, with Jeronimo Yanez, was orginally called a white police/black person killing when Yanez is obviously hispanic. There is, for sure, an agenda that is being pushed, a narrative that some (in a sick way) want to keep pushing in spite of the facts.

To me, that's despicable.

And now this. This isn't about black lives, this is about anarchy.

But, hey, Mr. President, they were just "rightfully upset," right?

Just reported one officer has a broken vertebrae in his neck from having a cinder block dropped on his head.

But we need a dialog with these folks, cause they will listen, right @Quoner?

Hard not to agree with you. IMO, these protests have more to do with people frustrated about their own crappy lives, than it does with the occasional police shooting incident. There would be masses of protests in Chicago daily if it were all simply about black lives.

Of course the rallies are being fueled by radical leaders online who have their own agendas, and it's easy to find young people who behave like cattle and are out looking for excitement. I spent a lot of time looking for excitement myself when I was in my teens and twenties. Sad situation all around.

Which is?

What you are seeing is an organized, agendized push to a nationalize police force ran by the federal government.

That's the path the true leaders of Black Lives Matter (Geirge Soros, President Obama) are steering this discussion toward. You will here this idea from leftists very soon.

First step toward socialism.

The family asking this to stop and condemning the actions? The demand on both sides to stop this crap? It's coming from anywhere except the fringes, but your goal is to just keep stoking it all as much as you can so you can be right about Obama and win the great political internet war. That's why posting about an action from the weekend while talking about a discussion that hasn't started as evidence not to talk to stop a person who could potentially do this later is somehow toxic and scary to you. I really don't get it.
