Where is longtime GMG contributor MG61? Have not seen a post from him in a while. Maybe a year or more.

I wondered about him myself. I don't recall seeing him at all last year and I used to see him every game. I know that he was close to mandatory retirement (he was an air controller). But, I also heard that he went to Scotty's blog because he became disenchanted with some of the members of this board always trying to be the cleverest poster. Even if that were true, he still would have continued coming to the games. I suppose that the combination of Villareal and McCarney may have been too much and he decided to take a sabbatical but he suffered through a lot of lean times along with the rest of us and was always there.
