www.jill2016.com   Jill Stein is an alternative to Hillary. Her stance on issues is very similar to Bernie, and she is a physician making a difference, rather than a politician. Look at her page and decide for yourself. At least do the research. We don't have to blindly go for either Democrat or Republican. There are other options.

This is rather odd. Are you campaigning for her?

I'm a Bernie guy but I'm voting Gary Johnson, sorry.

The are two viable candidates Clinton & Trump.  And other vote may be making a statement but that's it.  Vote for Johnson?  That's a vote for Hillary.  Vote for Stein (is that the Green Party Candidate?)?  That's a vote for the Donald.

It's a statement. I can't, in good conscience, vote for either one of those two stooges. Hillary is a flip flopping criminal fake Democrat, and Trump is a fake Republican failed businessman begging for votes from people he thinks are easily manipulated morons.

      Anyone else still rooting for Eric Morris?

      I don't see any other option but to root for him... If you fire him now and reset the program again (twice in less then 2 years) then you throw away next season. All the recruiting, and portal momentum, and most of the team will disappear with the coach being fired.

      The Band

      1. Anyone. There is a tryout. 2. No. It is provided by the school. The summer uniform/clothes under the uniform are paid for by the students. 3. Both. Most play on their own instrument. Marching instruments such as the sousaphones, marching baritones, mellophones and drumline are provided by the school. 4. Both. To my understanding. 5. 1 credit 😡 6. Most GB members make up the pep groups but that’s not always the case. *This might be outdated info. Sorry if anyone has other intel.

      Cotton, Vice And Mason

      Not being capable and not being given a legitimate opportunity are two different things. Moore never got a legitimate chance in my opinion. I don't think Taylor would have been given a legitimate chance either just like I don't believe Vice, Cotton, and Mason are being given legitimate opportunities to showcase themselves. We had a 20 point lead the entire second have against Evansville. They couldn't get in for 5-10 minutes with the members of the main rotation to see how they perform? Would be nice to know what we have if a main player goes down...

      The Band

      Before adding my thoughts, I have some questions about the band that maybe current or former band members or someone in the know can answer. 1. Who gets to be in the band? Is it an open try out or only available to students in the school of music? Is there a try out at all? 2. Do band members have to pay for (or rent) their uniforms or are they provided by the school? 3. Do they play their own personal instruments or are these provided by the school? 4. Where does any funding required for the band come from (Athletic Department, School of Music, somewhere else)? 5. Do band members receive any credits (elective or otherwise) for being in the band of it is purely voluntary? 6. What (if any) is the relationship between the Green Brigade and the pep band that plays at basketball games?

      UNT Basketball Beats Oregon State, 58-55

      DENTON – Atin Wright hit a game-winning 3-pointer with seven seconds remaining as the UNT men’s basketball team defeated Oregon State 58-55 at the Super Pit on Monday night. Three North Texas (5-1) players finished with double-digit point totals as the Mean Green remained undefeated at home this season. Latrell Jossell finished with a season and game-high 15 points. Brenen Lorient scored a career-high 14 points, extending his streak of double-digit point games to three. UNT has now beaten two high-major teams this regular season — they defeated Minnesota 54-51 on Nov. 13. It’s the first time they’ve accomplished that since the 2010-11 season when they beat Texas Tech and LSU in the same year during the regular season. The Mean Green continued to be one of the most efficient defensive teams in the country, forcing 22 Beavers turnovers, UNT’s highest total since Nov. 26, 2020 when the Mean Green defeated Mississippi Valley State 116-62 at home. "Our ability to turn them over 22 times in a one-possession game was the separator," head coach Ross Hodge said. " That's a really good team that can really shoot. We talked about it in one of the [media timeouts] that we were going to really have to string together some of our best defensive possessions and I thought that group in the second half was really good." North Texas took a close 26-25 lead into the locker room at halftime. Oregon State (4-2) came out hot to begin the second half and held the lead until the 5:38 mark. 13 of the Beavers’ 22 turnovers came in the second half, ultimately leading to the Mean Green’s close victory. North Texas travels to Kissimmee, Fla. to take on Northern Iowa on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT for their first game of the NIT Season Tip-Off.
