Moore had a very bad Sophmore year. I don't think I'd call him "our best player."

That honor last year went to Keena (sp?). He got plenty of opportunities to show his skill. Too bad he is the punter.

That gif was for you insulting someone's wife.

Grow up.

I wasn't insulting anyone's wife. Jim might have a supermodel wife as far as I know. You're being simple minded if that's what you took out of that post and that's not surprising. I was insulting his train of thought and his viewpoint on things as well as his standards. And being told to grow up by you is beautiful irony.

I need an actual vacation lol.

Back to Trevor Moore:

Was 9-of-14 on field goals, including 9-of-10 on field goals from inside 40 yards
• His season long was 38 yards against Iowa
• Was also a perfect 21-of-21 on PATs, extending his streak of consecutive PATs to 58 straight kicks, three shy of tying the school record

From 40& up He missed everything 0-3 40yds-49yards

0-1 50yards and up

He had ZERO chances inside of 20 yards

@UNT90, you make it real hard to be a UNT fan sometimes.  Our quarterback play has been the worst in the country the last two seasons and Morris didn't get a ride to Alabama for no reason.  'Bama quarterbacks may not have the stat sheets of some other QBs across the nation but they've played pretty damn well within the confines of their system.  And much like Scott Hall, who's numbers didn't jump off of the page, they have been very efficient.  And even if Morris' talent level isn't head and shoulders above what we've had, he'll still perform better for no other reason than coaching.  Graham Harrell is a very accomplished quarterback himself and he and LIttrell will find schemes to get the ball in the hands of our play makers.

Yes, I don't get the overall pessimism of some. Big turnarounds are not unheard of in college football. Even in our own conference, S. Miss. went from 0-12, 1-11, and 3-9, to a 9-3 regular season record. Stranger things have happened than us having a big turnaround season this fall. I'm actually fairly optimistic with the signing of our defensive newcomers in particular, We shall begin to see one way or another in a little over two months.

Counting on an unknown, especially one that struggled in the Spring game against a below average CUSA defense, isn't a reason to be wildly optimistic. Hopefully Morris comes in and set CUSA on fire, but until I see it happen there is absolutely zero reason to believe it will.

Morris was beaten out by a true freshman for second team at Alabama. That is concerning.
