Ran across this website this morning.  Never seen it before; maybe some of you all have.  A different spin of stats; at least some that I'd never seen:

Pretty interesting.

Glossary to help sort it out:  http://www.footballstudyhall.com/2015/2/9/8001137/college-football-advanced-stats-glossary

Good lord we were dreadful last year.    I knew it was bad.   But, I had already put last season out of my head until at looked at those scores again.   Yikes.

But hey, we gave UTEP a fight before going down ;)

P.S.-Those individual passing stats pretty much tell the story.   Even with a stout defense, we were not going to win many games with those kind of numbers.    Thank god we have a new staff.   Can you imagine what it would be like if Mac was allowed to finish out his contract ?

That's kind of the point I try to relate.  If Morris can hit just 55% of his passes (low for today's short passing-based offenses), we'd likely win at least two more games, no matter what the defense does because our conference competition is so...weak.

If Morris can hit a Derek Thompson 2013-like 64%, we'll be challenging for a bowl game.
