Agreed. Not sure what the stipulations are for this, but 7 home games paired with 2 big10 teams is a pretty good schedule granted those are straight up home-n-home's. If those are 2 for 1's then not so much. This is good scheduling though regardless. UNT needs to take notes from lowly fiu.

The 2 for 1 haters always make me chuckle. UNT had 2 five home games seasons in the last 4 years without a sniff of a P5 on the current or future schedules and the fans want to get all judgey about 2 for 1s? 

I wish we had a 2 for 1 with Texas Tech.

Sure, I agree. But if they were able to manage this year's schedule without 2 for 1's it would just make it that much sweeter for them. Pending the circumstances and if a program is in a scheduling funk (much like UNT right now), a 2 for 1 is not an absolutely horrible idea.
