'17 OL Tyler Castaneda (Round Rock)

6'4" 270 lb offensive lineman from Round Rock high school. We have offered. Decommitted from Texas Tech in late March. Also holds offers from SFA and Texas State.

Think the reason he decommitted is his brother left Tech and is at a JUCO now. Saw his brother got offered by TX State the other day so wonder if they would be a package deal? His brother was a good recruit with P5 offers out of high school, but got kicked off the team at Tech for stealing like 7 guns so some off field risk involved.

He still hasn't committed anywhere even though 247 lists him as a 100% prediction to Tech. Any idea if we're still going after this guy. We have picked up lots of OL guys but would def. be consideration for BS

This kid would be our 2nd best get if we did land him. Looks like he hasn't been around UNT in nearly a year. Also, he has been decommited for a while. Other schools have been in contact but nothing official. I'm guessing this is alot like Sigger?

I would love to add this kid. He maybe even someone that we could start Day 1...
