My thought is it's just a backup plan in case he doesn't feel confident in any of his offers come February 1st. Would give hime the opportunity to keep playing and then transfer to a D1 without sitting out.

Would be great to add him, just not sure if we will have the scholarships to sign him late like we did last year. Know it's unlikely but I'm guessing we couldn't get him as a blue-shirt could we?

Hard to offer a scholarship when we are so limited and you have big questions if he'll be able to make it.

True, but wonder if the staff would try picking him up if he did come through with grades.

They could add him as a blue shirt after it is determined that he qualifies (which may not be clear until May)

Any chances we hold maybe 1 or 2 spots for kids who qualify late? Like we assume with Anderson? Or do we try to fill the class on Signing day?

with roughly 7 spots left i think the 18 come nsd keep 2 spots for either grad transfer or late qualifiers and maybe blue shirts 1 or 2 possibly

My goodness, if academics is important, why would you visit UTSA? Are we still recruiting this young man? If not, why not and why is he not visiting Denton?
