Any idea on why his tape is from 2 years ago? He decommited from Houston about 5/6 weeks ago and talks about how he wants teams who work hard.. Hopefully we can get him. Really nice Arm talent and can take a hit with him also playing some defense as well.

SMU has 2 qb commits 2017, Houston has one with the A&M guy available next year. UH has a lot of good qbs!

I think I saw where the 1st smoo commit changed his mind after smoo accepted the commitment from the 2nd QB. Could be wrong but I thought I saw that somewhere.

Yes, SMU lost 1 of its QB Commits(Mcbride, I believe). Sure like this kids arm talent and ability to move in the pocket.

I like this. ALOT. Clearly a leader. I saw at one point he was ranked the 12th best dual threat QB in the Nation. He does post some semi questionabl stuff on Twitter maybe that's why no offer yet.

I could be wrong but is this kid in 2A football? I thought I saw his HS in the playoffs under the 2A ticker on FSSW but I could be wrong.

Also, we need desperately for a Dual Threat QB.. someone to help out this OL

What we desperately need is some good OL play.   And, yes, Refugio is 2A.

Just so y'all know he has played RB this year not QB. 

I also believe he is overrated as a QB.

Have you seen his tape at RB. I believe in one of my original posts I said he looked more like a RB than anything to me. ;)
