A large Mean Green nation is already in force inside the stadium. Great turnout so far.

It seems as if EVERYONE has suddenly got excited about something....I wonder why?

Anyhow...I got my big freakin' Mean Green truckers hat they gave out and I'm ready to kick smu's ass.

....and go Rangers...beat the Pirates.

Wished the Rangers had showed up.  But it was an amazing turnout by our students and alumni.  Spoke to a lot of folks sitting around us who were looking forward to seeing who Dr. Smatresk hires to take over the department.

^{I was there with my pretty wife and a Kiwanis/NT alum and my son and his wife.  I thought the cap was nice.  Lots of fans sitting around us asked whee we got such a nice cap.  The people sitting behind us seemed to be closet Mean Green fans.  They seem to keep us with the program but haven't yet been in Apogee.  Hmmm...That sounds too familiar.}

...or in the very least put something on Eugene Levy Scrappy that identifies him with the University of North Texas?

Its been 3 years now since ELS's debut.  Surely there's a jersey or a bumper sticker, anything we can label him with?

The university doesn't want him dressed. It wasn't an athletics decision, neither was the current design of "Eugene Levy" Scrappy.
