Financial commitment has defiantly stepped up with the Stadium, Mc buyout, and the new coaches. This potential stuff drives me crazy, because we all see it! C-USA 6TH would be a nice boost! Just win!

6th place would be an improvement.

As for the content of the "article". It's tough to take this with anything more than a block of salt since the writer only thinks we've been here since 1995 and is unsure on the proper usage of the word 'elude'...

Oozing = Sleeping Giant Potential + UNT under RV

as in oozing fans out the door. Snoozing will also be accepted as an alternative answer, as in the AD is snoozing on the job.

Oozing = Pus from a lingering fifteen-year infection. Maybe Littrell brought some hydrogen peroxide with him.

Bill Parcells defined "potential" as something "you" haven't done yet.

Don Meredith said that first. Or at least I heard it first from him whilst he was broadcasting a game (and having a debate with Howard Cosell) on Monday Night Football.

The culture at North Texas is viable, it just needs to be taken advantage of.

Viable? How about almost non-existent?

I got married because my wife thought I had "Potential."  At some point, she got tired of my shit, and came to the conclusion that the potential would never be realized.

We celebrate 19 years of marital bliss this September.  It's bliss because we've not spoken to each other in any way for about eight years now.

Silver, I like your credit better than mine.  I never liked Bill Parcells and always liked Don Meredith.

OldGuy, All I can say is wow.  When I'm with my wife, and people ask how long we've been married, I reply, "8 wonderful years,"  at which point my wife hits me in the ribs.  "We've been married 37 years," she says.  I reply, "Yeah, but only 8 have been wonderful.  No wonder we only have 2 ...Never mind.

I think Seth is going to make North Texas a place where players want to play.

What if it turns into a place where haters wanna hate?

Gonna tell you all a story 'bout a man named Jed

Poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed.

And then one day he was shootin' at some food

And up from the ground came (oozed ? ) a bubblin' crude.

See.  Sometimes ooze is good.  Just ask Jed.

Something tells me this is from Beverly Hillbillies, but when I read it, in my mind it was set to the rhythm of Fresh Price of Bellaire.

Finish the story. He bottled it and sold it as a magic elixir from the back of a Lexus. The label says its "Hattiesburg Heaven".
