Vote for Jacob.  He is up for South Team small forward, power forward and center.  Vote early, often and as many times as you like.  It is the American way.

Mizzou is a better body bag matchup, IMO. Decent chance they won't be special then and should be much more beatable than LSU, 'bama, Florida, etc...

They should provide a return game, something Apogee was supposed to provide, yet it is a one game contract.  We will probably host UTPB as our OOC home game.

You  know what would increase our chances?  Seeing them at Apogee.  But, what do I know. I am just a caveman and your ways frighten and confuse me.

Watch out, the Falcons are gonna make some noise in the Lone Star conference. Sadly I don't think the UTPB crowds will ever be bigger than the Permian crowds, then again that's the nature of the beast in West Texas

UTPB had 2,000 plus at their Spring Game and have sold about 2,500 season tickets to date.  You might be surprised what they produce.

You are both quite correct. They would be an excellent home opponent and the chances of beating them increase substantially at home.

Outside of the lack of a return game I'm mostly disappointed that this is scheduled so far out and will likely reduce future scheduling flexibility for the next UNT AD.

No shit? That's awesome. Are they gonna play at Ratliff?

This was the idea with Iowa too, I'm sure.   Instead, we catch them on their best season in a while.  I'm betting Florida jumps back up to the top of the SEC this season too, simply because North Texas is on the schedule.

Bad luck I guess.   In 2014, we caught lightning in a bottle with a floundering Texas program... the 2013 team wins that game.  Instead, we trot, quite possibly the WORST QB I've ever seen in my time following UNT out there, and flop hard.

Yes, in Ratliff. And get this, 7 home games this coming season in their first year of existence!

As Marty stated, yes they will play in Ratliff and have 7 home games.  The coach and coaching staff are at every single community event selling the program, they are having a golf tournament to raise funds that they are promoting to the community and will be hosting a day long event this fall including 5K Fun Run, car show, etc...  They are building relationships within the community that will serve them well as they start the program.

Guess lil ole North Texas can't do simple things of this nature.

Buddy of mine spent awhile down there as some type of CPA working on their accreditation if I remember correctly.
