Buyers may like WR, but i doubt he just volunteered a starting CB spot to play a position that is totally unknown.  A CB position that he was fairly decent at.  Buyers also played a lot of nickel.  Seems like he could have found a spot at safety/nickel.  Seems to me it was some kind of "writing on the wall" moment and he moved to WR.  

Buyers wasn't in love with playing corner, so that part is true.  In 2014 he wanted to play safety, but they wouldn't move him.  I personally think safety is his spot too.

I wouldn't be surprised if he still played somewhere in the secondary from time to time next year.

Pretty sure it had more to do with his injuries that forced him to redshirt last year.... But what do I know....
