Traveling last night on business and happened to be staying at the same hotel as the men's golf team...Hilton Garden Inn in Texarkana! Nice Mercedes van to travel in with a nice big eagle on it! Took a pic, but can't seem to be able to post it. Saw folks from UTSA and UTEP there also.

Cool they get a good ride...they played well...made the match play, but lost to la tech....it was the 20th hole that decided the match...LA tech went on to win the tourney

Always nice to see this.The other day while grocery shopping in Chapel Hill, I saw a van with both North Taxes and Wake Forest decals.

On further reflection, maybe that was our former WBB coach?

  Sadly, one of the only North Texas traditions that make it from one NT generation to another. Wrinkled $100 bills are just as valid today as when I originally coined that analogy back in about 1973. TCU, has "RIFF RAM BAH ZOO" and we have "wrinkled $100 bills".

  The US economy has actually performed way better since the pandemic than pretty much everywhere else. That's not to say thing are great for everyone (of course they never are - no matter how good things are doing, some folks are always living in poverty) in the States, but if one looks at the world at large, just about every nation has dealt with worse inflation than us. Of course, didn't we all learn in school (I know I did - both in government and economics classes!), that the president has a limited ability to improve/worsen the economy. Obviously government matters some, but I also know they get WAY too much credit when things are humming along and likewise are blamed WAY too much when things aren't. It's the nature of the beast, even if it's not exactly fair.

  I bet teams like Oregon State agree to come here, but they dictate the date - they make sure we play on a holiday week when attendance is lighter. I hope we return the favor. According to Burton, SMU only agreed to play the women this season if they made it a MTE and had a guaranteed win (Chicago State) out of it. Also hurts that this rivalry game is on December 19th.
