Just got a new car and will be getting plates for it. I want to try and expand the Mean Green Empire here in far North Texas along the Red River, so I thought about getting custom UNT plates. You guys got any ideas about what to put on them?

Some of these really made me chuckle. I think I can get as many as 7 characters.

I'm leaning towards: N TEX 1, NT FAN, GO MG!, or maybe MEANGRN.

But it appears I need to watch out, as you are starting to sound like a wounded dog in a corner hurling baseless accusations at me.  Feeling defeated?

Wasn't aimed at you, just making the point that it usually isn't me who brings up the failure at AD  that is Rick Villarreal. You just provided the first of many examples, I'm sure.

Merely an observation after I read 2 statements of the like responding directly to me.

A personal attack would be something like: "...go back to your hippie compound, smoke some weed before you bump that heroin, then have gay sex with multiple partners before throwing your feces on someone for not recycling..."

I'm very sorry @Side Show Joe for helping derail your thread.   Can't wait to see what you decide on.   Congrats on the new car!   See you 9/3!

The fact that I never have, yet you are attempting to imply that I have is not only a further personal attack, it's also a thread highjack.

      Great game, Memphis is a good team and this one came down to the end. However I am still baffled by UNT's inability to inbound the ball, this is a trend that has been going on for a few seasons now. There were several times today that they would inbound the ball directly into a corner trap, many of those instances resulted into a turn over.

      The Mean Green (10-4, 1-1) got a career performance from senior big man Moulaye Sissoko who poured in a career-high 17 points on eight shots and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds in the four-point defeat. UNT outrebounded the nationally ranked Tigers (12-3, 2-0) 30-21and forced them into 15 turnovers and just seven assists. “If you have told me we would force them into 15 turnovers and just seven assists and outrebound them by nine I would have really liked our chances,” said head coach Ross Hodge. “But it was that stretch in the second half where we didn’t handle their press well and we ended with 16 turnovers. We’ll regroup together and get better from this together.” The Mean Green have a quick turnaround as they host Rice on Wednesday at Super Pit at 8 p.m. CT. UNT is 8-0 at home this season.
