Dennis Smith?

Does anyone have any information on Dennis Smith? He is shown as a walk on wide receiver in this picture series from early in Spring ball.

Not listed on the roster. From my internet search, he may have signed with Blinn back in 2012. Not sure if he ever played there.

Timelines are weird, but I think he originally committed to A$M. Broke his foot in 2011 at mid-season (high school), got into some off field issues and then came back for the playoffs?

Before the 2011 season, he listed North Texas in his top 3, along with Wake Forest and Colorado. Looks like he has/had a ton of talent. Any idea where he has been the last few years?

Pardon if this has been covered elsewhere or is otherwise useless information.

That may or may not even be his name.  The same picture series thinks our starting running back is named Jeremy Wilson.

Looks like there was a tragic event after graduation involving he and his cousin. Then couldn't find any info after he signed his LOI with Blinn.

In one of the practices that I attended I saw a #84 and #40 at WR that were not on the official roster. #40 looked to be about 6'1". He made a pretty spectacular catch during one QB/WR drill.
